Some robberies to tell you about from last night.
One victim met someone he knew on Barrington who demanded money and knocked the victim to the ground to get it. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Three masked men broke into a residence on Emma Court in Dartmouth around 11:40 last night armed with a crowbar. Police say they were apparently chased off by the resident empty-handed. No one was hurt.
There was an attempted holdup at the Fenwick Convenience Store on South Park Street yesterday afternoon. A man walked behind the counter saying this is a robbery and demanding cash and cogarettes. The clerk told the guy to leave and he did…empty-handed, although he punched the clerk before leaving.
