Not guilty verdict in murder trial

A Little Tancook Island man has been found not guilty of murder at his second trial, according to CBC.

Terry Roy Levy was convicted the first time of second degree murder in the killing of his daughter’s boyfriend Terry Green on the island in 2014. That conviction was overturned.

Now a jury has found Levy not guilty in a verdict reached yesterday. The Crown contended the murder was planned…the defence said it was self-defence.
