Vehicle thefts are dropping in Saint John.
The Telegraph Journal reports that so far this year, 53 vehicles have been stolen in the Saint John area, putting the city on track for roughly 60 thefts by years’ end. That would represent a 13% drop from last year and 23% down from 2014. Much of the decline is being attributed to Saint John being the only city in Atlantic Canada with a dedicated Auto Theft Investigator position on their police force.
