Virus closes doggy daycare

A virus forced closure of a doggy daycare in Moncton.

CTV reports the highly contagious virus Bordetella, known as kennel cough, forced Pawsitive Dog Daycare to close temporarily. 45 animals at the facility contracted the virus. It doesn’t pose a threat to humans and most dogs recover after a few days.

The doggy daycare closed down to be sanitized and cleaned over the weekend and is expected to reopen today.
