Python trial resumes today

Jury deliberations are expected to begin Wednesday in the trial of a man accused of criminal negligence in the deaths of two young boys who were killed by his python in Camplbellton.

The trial of Jean-Claude Savoie will resume today with only 11 people in the jury box after one was dismissed for unspecified reasons Friday. The jurors will hear from one remaining prosecution witness…a former curator of reptiles and amphibians at the Toronto Zoo. Then the defence will present its case.
