RCMP say the incident happened just after 1am on Highway 4 in Alma. The driver stopped at the checkpoint and had a brief conversation with the officer before suddenly fleeing. The officer’s arm and shoulder got caught on the vehicle as it sped away. RCMP say the officer suffered minor injuries.
