Nova Scotia officials are looking into damage caused to a fish farm in Shelburne Harbour after a major winter storm earlier this month. A company reported damage to one of its pens to the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture on February 15th. The province says it’s believed some of the salmon were released from the damaged pen. The fish farm’s operator has been working to harvest all of the fish at the site as well as the remaining fish from the damaged pen.
