K-Line Construction donations in the Miramichi area

K-Line Construction of Woodstock, has donated 1 thousand dollars to five food banks in Miramichi; Neguac, Tracadie, Lameque; and Bertrand.

Those areas were hit by that severe ice storm in January.

Courtney Keenan, purchasing manager for K-Line Construction, told The Leader that the power restoration company felt it was their duty to give back to the communities who helped them during their work.

For example, a Miramichi-area Shoppers Drug Mart gave the crew workers cold medication prescriptions for free; in case they got sick working outside in minus 20 degree temperatures.
