As of yesterday, Those earning minimum wage in Nova Scotia are being paid 15 cents more per hour. As of April 1st the minimum wage for experienced workers rose from 10-dollars-and-70-cents to ten-eighty-five per hour. Minimum wage for inexperienced workers who have less than three months experience in any given job also went up from 10-dollars-and-twenty-cents per hour to ten-thirty-five. Minimum wages went up in all three maritime provinces on Saturday with Nova Scotia still trailing its neighbors in rate of pay. As of yesterday the minimum wage in PEI rose to 11.25 per hour while New Brunswick’s minimum wage rose to 11 dollars.
