A record 3.9 million travelers passed through Halifax Stanfield International Airport in 2016. The airport authority says that’s a 5.6 percent increase over 2015, with domestic traffic accounting for nearly 84 percent. Over 4 million people are expected to go through the airport this year.

Several people are dead after a shooting at the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Centre.
Two people were arrested after the incident, which happened during prayer last night.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted his condolences.
The same location had a pig’s head left in front of it back in the summer.
