Southwestern Nova Scotia could see 40-60 cm of snow by the end of the day Monday with over 25 cm expected throughout the rest of the province.

IWK Children’s Hospital Warns of Fundraising Scam

The IWK Children’s hospital in Halifax is warning residents of the HRM about a door-to-door scam claiming to be raising money on their behalf. On Friday afternoon two men and a woman were going door to door in the Manor Park neighborhood of Dartmouth claiming to be collecting donations, by cash or credit card, for the IWK. The three were reportedly wearing clothing with the hospital’s logo. The IWK hospital foundation says they do not conduct door-to-door fundraisers.
