Severe Winter Storm to Hit Nova Scotia Tonight

Atlantic Canada is bracing for another winter storm — the second in just the past few days. Environment Canada says Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island will see strong winds and heavy snow later today. Nova Scotia Power has placed crews around the province to ensure restoration efforts aren’t blocked by poor travel conditions. Southwestern Nova Scotia could see 40-60 cm of snow by the end of the day Monday with over 25 cm expected throughout the rest of the province.
