Members of Eskasoni RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, following an investigation. A Québec woman and an Eskasoni man were arrested as a result. 175 Percocet pills were seized.
Karen Ann Barnaby, 48, of Listuguj, Quebec and Winter Gideon, 28, of Eskasoni have both been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. They have been remanded into custody and will appear in Sydney Provincial Court on Monday.
