Seven new high schools in Nova Scotia will become Skilled Trades Centres. They provide stronger links between the classroom and working world, and more opportunities to pursue trades. New Skilled Trades Centres will be found at Riverview Rural in Coxheath and Richmond Academy in Louisdale, among other schools.

Bank robbery suspect still being looked for
The suspect in Friday afternoon’s bank robbery in New Waterford is still sought. A man went into the Plummer Avenue Scotiabank around 3:00 and demanded money, saying he had a weapon. Police aren’t releasing any more details at this time.
