Police continue to investigate a holdup at a Glace Bay store Wednesday night.
A man with a handgun walked into Jack’s Place on Union Street and held three people at gunpoint while demanding money. He got some and fled. Nobody was hurt.

Sydney Mines rally
Doctors from around the Island will hold a rally in Sydney Mines Sunday to express their concerns about a lack of doctors.
The Cape Breton Medical Staff Association organized the rally for 1:00pm Sunday at Memorial High School.
Their two main concerns are the continued loss of services and colleagues as physicians retire and leave. They are also concerned about the future of the Northside General Hospital and its E-R.
