Caleb’s Superhero Suite at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital

They opened Caleb’s Superhero Suite at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital yesterday.

It’s in honour of Caleb MacArthur was just three years old when he died from a rare cancer in 2015.

His family told the CBC the special pediatric palliative oncology room at the hospital is decorated with brightly coloured murals of Caleb as a superhero and other young superhero characters.  His mother Nicole Forgeron says the room used to be bare, now it’s a warm welcoming place for family of friends of young patients to visit with books and toys as well.
