Police divers will be back in the Mira today looking for the body of Murray Francis Reid, who’s been missing since June 5th. They took a break yesterday for equipment maintenance while boats operated by local volunteer fire departments continued the search, but so far nothing.

Glace Bay drug case
A Glace Bay drug dealer is going to jail.
24 year old Jordan William Oakes was sentenced to two years less a day in a provincial jail for possession for the purpose of trafficking, assault, breaching conditions, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Those were in relation to an incident February 5th in Glace Bay when two other men were also arrested. Their cases are still before the courts.
