The province is suspending all student assessments until further notice. School boards will also suspend board level assessments and reporting requirements. These issues will be referred to the Partnership on Systemic Working Conditions to determine which assessments should continue, whether data entry and reporting are necessary, and which assessments are of greatest benefit to student learning and accountability.

CBU hosting gathering on housing, homelessness
Cape Breton University will host an important gathering tomorrow on housing and homelessness in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality. Called “Research to Action” the event is about bringing community groups and agencies together to determine how new, local data on homelessness and housing can be used in the municipality.
