Lunenburg boat builders have begun replacing the rudder on the Bluenose II. Service contracts were finalized this week with Snyder’s Shipyard, Lunenburg Industrial Foundry and Engineering, and Canadian Maritime Engineering. A fourth company, who will provide manual steering gear, is still to be determined. The province says the project’s cost will stay within the announced $25 million.
