Alan Thicke obit

The dad from “Growing Pains” has passed away.

Canadian Alan Thicke died in Los Angeles yesterdfay from a heart attack.

He was 69.

Thicke was born in northern Ontario in 1947.

He was a popular talk show host on Canadian TV before moving to the U-S and starring in the popular sitcom.

He also wrote several theme songs for shows, including the “Wheel of Fortune.”

Canada’s DFO disagrees with Amnesty International

Canada has come under fire from Amnesty International which claims we’re falling short on a number of human rights issues, including indigenous rights.

The group says while some progress has been made in the last year, Canada has stumbled in a number of areas.

It cited Ottawa’s approval of a dam in B.C. without indigenous consent.

However, the D-F-O points out that there were extensive First Nations consultations.
