Strangers gather for Christmas dinner

A South Shore grandmother opened her home to strangers for Christmas dinner…people with no place else to go.

63 year old Patty McGill says she just wanted to cook a Christmas meal for a group of strangers who she says have now become friends. McGill opened her home in Blockhouse to about 10 people who mostly had never met. Then over the next few hours they became friends. McGill called it her best Christmas in Nova Scotia and made her feel whole.
