On March 31st, 5-90 CJCW and the Capital Campaign Committee are teaming up for a radiothon to raise money for Kiwanis Nursing Home renovations.
Coordinator Peter Price says the goal is to raise 25 thousand dollars.

Vimy Ridge commemoration in Sussex
April 9th will be the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.
The 8th Hussars Regimental Museum will mark that defining event in Canadian World War I history with a painting of the battle.
Artist Fred Harrison, known for many of the murals in Sussex; did the painting.
It will officially be unveiled during the anniversary ceremonies with a special presentation at the Sussex Legion starting at 1:30 in the afternoon on April 9th.
