Today is the last day for road salt coming out of the Picadilly Mine.

34 PotashCorp employees will finish up, as will the province’s road salt coming from there.

The Cargill contract is done, and Windsor Salt out of Pugwash; Nova Scotia, will take over next winter.

The 13th annual Equine Review is today through Sunday.

Registration is tonight at 6 at the Princess Louise show Center and Barns.

Admission is five dollars.

It’s a presentation of the Maritime Quarter Horse Association.
