This Saturday, the Adventure Corridor Relay Run will take place from Sussex to St Martins, it’s a 54K distance, it starts at the Sussex Legion.

In addition, local learn to run groups meet at the PotashCorp Civic Centre on Sunday afternoons at 2:15; and there’s another one, also on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. at the Sussex Elementary Track.

At the recent Pollett River Run, a pair of people were arrested and 14 vehicles were towed; according to the Southeast District RCMP.

One person was nabbed for impaired driving, and the other was arrested for assault with a weapon.

The vehicles were towed because they were blocking emergency vehicles.

Now, volunteers from the Petitcodiac Watershed Alliance are cleaning up several tons of debris, as that trash is really dangerous for fish, such as endangered Atlantic salmon native to the Bay of Fundy.
