The power outage Friday was caused by a crack in the top of the power pole that snapped and caught fire after being soaked with rain.
It took NB power crews several hours to repair it.
The incident was on Marble street near the train crossing, traffic had to be redirected.
The Arts and Culture Centre of Sussex will have its first event June 16 with an art exhibit that has a spring theme.
The exhibit will run until mid-August.
In addition, they plan to hold exhibit openings, open mic nights for music and poetry; and arts programming for kids.
