Since the closure of the Picadilly Mine in January of 2016, Sussex is finally seeing growth regarding building permits in the first half of this year.

Just over 2 million dollars worth of construction and repairs have taken place in the town.

So far, 96 building permits have been issued this year to date.

This Sunday, husband and wife duo Tammy and Gary Morris will be performing on the tent stage of Parking Lot 6 at the Fundy Trail, just a short distance from St Martins.

The concert will run from two til four pm.

Both Tammy and Gary are inductees to the New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame.
