The Council on Aging has presented recommendations in a new strategy called We Are All in This Together. The 17-member council has proposed actions including making the province more age-friendly, and establishing it as a leader in aging research and social innovation. Other recommendations focus on a dementia strategy, improved training and incentives for caregivers; and enhancing communication among health professionals.

NB Power update
Almost 59,000 NB Power customers were still in the dark around lunchtime. The utility expects 99% of Bouctouche, Moncton, Sackville, Shediac, and Sussex back up tonight.
