Changes are coming to New Brunswick’s Student Employment Experience Development summer employment program. Students will fill out an application on NBseed.ca for a voucher for employment and 1,600 names will be drawn in the first week of April. Non-profit organizations, and First Nations community positions will be funded 100 per cent, to cover wages; private sector and municipalities will get 50 per cent, and an extra 400 positions will be added. Applications close on March 31st.

Minimum Wage Going Up in New Brunswick
On April first, the minimum wage in New Brunswick will increase from 10.65 to 11 dollars an hour. The boost will be the third since December 2014 and the 12th in the past ten years.
