A west side man has pleaded guilty to a false police report. 29-year-old Peter Wells told them his Jeep was stolen in November, but then went in and took it back the next day. He ended up crashing into his friend’s vehicle after they argued, and he lied to cover it up. He was fined $250 and given a conditional discharge.

Revised car wash proposal approved for second reading
A revised proposal for a car wash in Quispamsis has been approved for second reading. Residents worried about Dr. Jeff Sheppard’s bid for the project because it would’ve tapped into the groundwater supply. Now, water would be trucked in. Council has approved the revision.
