The New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2017 has been announced. The six members are golfer Kimberly Adams-Tattrie of Tide Head, runner Paula Keating and late basketball referee Ernest Quigley of Miramichi, rowers Brian and Henry Flood of Renforth, curling Team Hanlon of Saint John and speed skater Jeffrey Scholten of Fredericton. They’ll be inducted May 27th in Quispamsis.

Charges for hospital disturbance
A 27 year old man is facing a number of charges after a disturbance at Saint John Regional Hospital Tueday night.
Police were called because of a man yelling at staff and other patients in the emergency department. They arrived and he resisted arrest. Police found botles of saline and syringes on him and took him to the police station where he continued to resist.
James Reilly O’Hearon was in court yesterday on four charges, including theft, causing a disturbance and resisting arrest. The case has been adjourned until April so he can find a lawyer.
