Road rage

A case of apparent road rage has landed a senior behind bars.

69 year old Gene Williams was arrested last week after deliberately running down a man in a parking lot on the East Side. He was remanded in custody until sentencing in April.

Video of the incident has turned up on social media showing a black SUV hitting the man sending him flying. Williams and the victim first encountered each other in Grand Bay where words were exchanged . Then Williams followed the man and his friend for half an hour to Cold Brook Crescent where he deliberately ran into the man and then drove away. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
