There are reports the FBI has asked the Justice department to dispute allegations made on the weekend by President Trump that former president Obama ordered the tapping of Trump’s phones during the presidential campaign.
FBI Director James Comey insists that Trump’s claim is false…made up…and must be corrected.
Democrats in the U-S Congress want details from reports of contacts between the Trump White House and the Justice Department. It has to do with the FBI’s review of efforts by the Russians to influence the American election.
The Democrtats want details on reports the White House has contacted the Justice Department and FBI asking them to squelch the reports of communications between Trump’s associates and Russians during the campaign.
