The province has set up a working group to prepare for the legalization of marijuanna.

Health Minister Victor Boudreau says the government has been working for over a year to prepare and this new working group will provide recommendations on a number of key decisions such as the age limit, how it should be distributed and other regulations.

A car-pedestrian accident in Bathurst has left a 67 year old woman dead.

She was crossing St. Peter Avenue Monday night when she was hit. Police say she was not in a crosswalk when she was hit by the car driven by a 20 year old man. No name has been released…and the investigation continues.
