Quebec man charged with killing three women

A 51 year old Quebec man has been charged with three counts of first degree murder in the deaths of three women northeast of Montreal.

At least two of them were related to Sylvain Duquette. He’s also charged with attempted murder and confinement against his 80 year old father. One of the dead women was his father’s wife and another his sister-in-law.

Mulroney talking trade

Brian Mulroney was back on Parliament Hill yesterday to brief Trudeau Government officials on trading with the U-S under Donald Trump. Mulroney is a personal friend of Trump.

He’s predicting some difficult days coming for trade negotiators from Canada, the U-S and Mexico. The former prime minister briefed cabinet on how negotiations might proceed on renegotiating NAFTA which his government brought in.
