The City will be installing a new storm sewer on Fairville Boulevard and upgrading the Manawagonish Creek channel as part of the project.
The project includes the installation of new storm sewer, catchbasins, manholes and then repaving. Construction is expected to begin in June and continue into October 2017.
Two Saint John cops are being honoured for their heroic efforts.
In the early morning hours of January 22, Sergeant David Cowan and Constable Tyler White responded to a call of a structure fire and as the first officers on scene, they found a house nearly fully engulfed in flames. Their quick response and repeated efforts to enter the burning home resulted in the rescue of four individuals.
They will be getting the Commendation Gold Level award by the Board of Police Commissioners.
