Bathurst RCMP has determined foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found in a wooded area in Rosehill late last week.
A man on an ATV spotted the body and the Mounties determined it was a 23 year old man who had been reported missing to Police May 3. They haven’t released the cause of death or name.
Three fishermen were rescued yesterday after their vessel ran aground near Neguac.
The crew sent a mayday call Sunday night after they ran aground on a sandbar in Miramichi Bay. They were picked up about 8 hours later by a search and rescue helicopter and taken to a ballfield near Neguac where an ambulance was waiting.
