Three fishermen were rescued yesterday after their vessel ran aground near Neguac.
The crew sent a mayday call Sunday night after they ran aground on a sandbar in Miramichi Bay. They were picked up about 8 hours later by a search and rescue helicopter and taken to a ballfield near Neguac where an ambulance was waiting.
