A man has been given 45 days in jail for headbutting a security guard at the ECMAs. 28-year-old Brian Jeffrey Chisholm was also banned from Market Square for the April 27th incident, to which he pleaded guilty.

Air handling units being put in at Canada Games Aquatic Centre
Work is underway at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. Two new portable air handling units are being installed as preparation for two permanent ones is on. Because of this, the parking lot entrance off Union Street will be closed. This work is set to go until September.
