A meeting will be held today with local residents to help decide the future of the Hammond River Number 2 Covered Bridge in Quispamsis.
Officials with the Transportation Department will present options for the bridge, which was closed after an excavator went through the deck. The province is considering whether the bridge should be replaced by a new bridge or if the century old bridge is worth repairing.
