An autopsy is being done on the body of a woman pulled from the Petitcodiac River on the weekend.
A woman walking along the Riverfront Trail behind the Chateau Moncton, spotted the body in the water yesterday morning. By the time fire fighters got to it it was on the Riverview side.
The woman is believed to be in her late 50s or 60s….there was no I-D with the body.
