They are still looking for the cause of a fire on City Road on the weekend.

The blaze broke out in the building that used to house the City Laundromat which closed in 2011. New owners have been renovating the building which appears to have been destroyed now. Nobody was hurt

Common Council will discuss buses and Harbour Passage at today’s meeting, according to the Telegraph-Journal.

Council voted in October to extend the Harbour Passage trail to Tin Can beach near the Bottom of Sydney Street…not just for recreational use but to give people a walkway to get uptown. It also approved buying 12 new buses with help from Ottawa.

Amendments to the Public Transit Infrastructure Fund to allow those things will be discussed today.
