The Native Women’s Association of Canada is raising concerns after the resignation of the executive director for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. The association the latest resignation, along with others at the Inquiry, leave it fearful the whole inquiry could be in jeopardy.

Right Whale deaths
The preliminary results of necropsies on two of those North Atlantic Right Whales that died near the Magdelens show they may have suffered blunt trauma. The third suffered after getting cauht in fishing gear.
The discovery of the six dead whales caused concern because they represent over 1% of the estimated 525 endangered animals still in existence.
