A weekend house fire claimed the lives of two people in Wirral.

Fire fighters got the flames out in the two storey house and then found the bodies of a man and woman. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.

Neighbours say the couple moved into the area about 20 years ago. Names are being withheld while relatives are notified.

Nobody was hurt in another fire…this one in St. Stephen Sunday night.

Nancy Mosher lost her home and is devestated because she has been dealing with the death of her son just last week. The community is rallying around her and a GoFundMe page has been opened to help her with the cost of the funeral.
