17 year old Sam Wade of Wallace is at the Canada Games, competing for Nova Scotia in men’s basketball.
Other area athletes at the games are Denver and Gabrielle Fraser of Advocate Harbour, Taylor Mattinson of Oxford; all in track and field, and Casey Perrin of Oxford in para track and field.
Amherst native Justin Shannon is competing in wrestling.
