The no-kill shelter does not make any money from adoption fees.
Bills for utilites and treatment of shelter animals are between $5,000 and $10,000 a month.
If you’d like to donate, there are boxes set up around town.
A dozen Miramichi community project ideas are vying for a share of the $50,000 community project fund.
