Two new documentaries have been given film funding. Evil Outdoors, produced by Tell Tale Entertainment, has been approved for $200,045 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of over $678,000. Sickboy, produced by Dream Street SB Pictures, is getting $129,140 based on eligible Nova Scotia expenditure of over $445,000.

Province suspending student assessments
The province is suspending all student assessments until further notice. School boards will also suspend board level assessments and reporting requirements. These issues will be referred to the Partnership on Systemic Working Conditions to determine which assessments should continue, whether data entry and reporting are necessary, and which assessments are of greatest benefit to student learning and accountability.
