Great places in Rothesay and St. Andrews

Rothesay and St. Andrews have some great public spaces.

So much so that the Canadian Institute of Planners has named the Rothesay Common as it’s People Choice Public Space winner for this year, according to the Telegraph-Journal.  Water Street in St. Andrews was named the Great Street winner.

Artists honoured

Two artists have been honoured for their contributions to the province’s arts community.

Visual artist Suzanne Hill of Rothesay and poet M. Travis Lane of Fredericton have been named as the winners of this year’s Lt.-Governor’s Awards for High Achievement in the Arts.

The awards, presented by the New Brunswick Arts Board, are each worth $20,000.
