Information and Privacy Commissioner Catherine Tully has ruled against the South Shore Regional School Board regarding a settlement. The applicant wanted to know the amount of money paid to a former employee to settle legal disputes, but the school board said it was an unreasonable invasion of privacy. Tully finds the settlement was remuneration of a public body employee, and disclosure isn’t unreasonable.

Province announces electoral reform commission
The province has announced which five members will form the commission on electoral reform. Carolyn MacKay, Bev Harrison, Gaétane Johnson, Jason Alcorn and Constantine Passaris will make recommendations for improving our system. See their full bios here:
