Tully rules against South Shore Regional School Board in bid to not reveal settlement amount

Information and Privacy Commissioner Catherine Tully has ruled against the South Shore Regional School Board regarding a settlement.  The applicant wanted to know the amount of money paid to a former employee to settle legal disputes, but the school board said it was an unreasonable invasion of privacy.  Tully finds the settlement was remuneration of a public body employee, and disclosure isn’t unreasonable.
