Prime Minister Trudeau spoke with Donald Trump yesterday to congratulate him on his victory.
The Prime Minister’s Office says the two both stressed the importance of the relationship between Canada and the U-S. Trudeau invited Trump to visit Canada.

Anti-Trump protestors took to the streets of America yesterday in their thousands…from New England to Portland and down to Oakland and Los Angeles. The largest of the demonstrations were held in Boston, outside Trump Tower in New York, and in Chicago, where thousands marched to a Trump property carrying signs and chanting Not my President.
Trump will meet in the Oval Office this morning with President Barack Obama, to discuss the transition of power.
